EnergyGauge
USA Products
There are three basic EnergyGauge
USA software products available:
- FlaRes 2008 energy simulation software for producing form 1100A for Florida residential energy code compiance by the performance method after March 1, 2009.
- ResSim energy simulation software for the design
of low-energy homes, including IECC
1998/2000, IECC 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2006
code compliance calculation and reporting
using the whole-building performance
method.
- ResRate
Home Energy Rating System (HERS)
software that also performs the above design
and IECC code compliance calculation and
reporting, and Florida 2008 code compliance. Includes 2006 HERS Index, HERS
1999 Score and Tax Credit Qualification Report.

All
EnergyGauge USA software products feature detailed,
hourly
DOE 2.1-E simulation and reporting capability.
Licensing
All EnergyGauge USA software is sold with either an annual or 3-year single-machine license agreement. Single-machine license means the software may be installed on only one machine at any given time. Users must renew their license after it expires to continue using the software.
Discounts
There is a 10% discount for purchasing a three-year license. There is also a 10% discount for purchasing five or more new licenses at one time in the same order. For customer's convenience, these discounts will be shown during the order process.
