New 2008 FlaRes Code Compliance Software Now Available
for Beta Testing
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Consistent with Governor Crist’s Executive Order #07-127, the Florida Building Commission is amending the Florida Residential Energy code to achieve a 15% reduction in energy use compared with the proposed 2007 code. A trial version of the 2008 Code compliance software (EnergyGauge USA FlaRes2008) has been created to assist interested parties in understanding the differences that will occur with this change.
Warnings:
The software will not be eligible for telephonic technical support. Technical support is available via e-mail to FlaRes2008@energygauge.com or through the knowledge-base Technical Support included within the software. The software has extensive built-in Help that should answer typical user questions. However, the development team is seeking input on usability. We request that any problems or suggestions be reported through the above e-mail address.
